Welcome to Strat-O-Matic baseball! Enclosed is a demo version of our game. It includes 4 famous teams which have been selected by our research team to provide maximum enjoyment for you. If you decide to purchase the game you will receive the current major league players as part of your purchase.
A few things to note about the demo version of the game.
1. The demo version only comes in a 16-bit (Windows 3.1 or Mac 68k) version. If you purchase the game you will also receive a 32-bit version (compatible with Windows '95 or Mac Power PC) as well as a 16-bit version of the program.
2. This demo will work properly on machines with Windows '95 but the production version of the game has a much nicer "look and feel" since it is a 32-bit program designed specifically to take advantage of Windows '95.
3. There is no sound support or "Regulator" feature (see the help file for more information regarding the Regulator). We have eliminated these two items in an effort to make the size of the demo program reasonable for download.
4. There is only one ballpark picture (Yankee Stadium - black & white) included, also to keep the size of the file reasonable. If you purchase the game you get all 28 major league stadiums included in black and white with an inexpensive option for color ballparks (day & night).
